Edyta Krawczynska
Psychotherapy
I work with adults who are tired of coping, masking, over-functioning or pushing through; including neurodivergent adults, people in recovery, and those longing to understand themselves more deeply. Alongside this, I also support adolescents using a creative, relational approach that helps young people feel safer, stronger, and better understood.
You might look like you’re holding it together, while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted underneath.
I’m a Gestalt psychotherapist based in Manchester, offering therapy in English and Polish, online and in person. I work particularly well with people who have spent years holding it all together - often high-achieving, neurodivergent, burnt out, or disconnected from themselves. Before training as a therapist, I spent over a decade in high-pressure business environments, and as an AuDHD therapist, I bring both lived and professional understanding to this work, including recovery and burnout.

Therapeutic Services
Therapy can offer a space to pause, understand yourself more deeply, and explore the ways you’ve learned to cope, survive, or hold everything together. Together, we may explore thoughts, emotions, relationships, and embodied experience; noticing what happens not only in the mind, but also in the body.
Over time, patterns in relationships, including the relationship between us, can begin to emerge, creating opportunities for greater awareness, self-understanding, and change.
I work particularly well with adults navigating burnout, neurodivergence, recovery, emotional overwhelm, or feeling disconnected from themselves.
Therapy for Adults
I offer therapy for Adolescents using the Violet Oaklander approach - a creative, relational way of supporting emotional wellbeing and self-expression. Rather than trying to “fix” behaviour, the focus is on helping young people feel stronger in themselves, better understood, and more able to express difficult feelings safely.
Sessions may include creative and expressive ways of working such as art, metaphor, storytelling, movement, games, sand tray, or other approaches shaped around the young person’s needs and interests.

How I Work
Burnout • Neurodivergence (ADHD & Autism) • Recovery & Addiction • Trauma • Relationships • Self-Understanding • C-PTSD
Gestalt therapy is a relational and experiential approach that focuses on increasing awareness, helping you better understand yourself, your relationships, and the ways you have learned to cope.
Rather than analysing you or offering quick fixes, therapy becomes a space to slow down and explore what is happening in the present moment - emotionally, relationally, and physically. Together, we may notice patterns, emotions, thoughts, and embodied responses that can often go unnoticed when life has been about coping, performing, masking, or simply getting through.
Over time, the relationship between us can also become part of the work. The ways we learn to relate to others often begin to show up in therapy too, creating opportunities for deeper awareness, new experiences, and meaningful change.
